Monthly Services

The monthly service we provide is a full outsourced solution to remain compliant and your premises fit for purpose. This service includes:

o Risk Assessments (Fire/Legionella/Health and Safety/DDA)

o We carry out your compliance tasks for you:
• Weekly fire alarm test (including drills and reports)
• Legionella temperature monitoring
• Emergency lighting test

o Equipment maintenance
• Fire alarm contract (maintenance of panel, extinguishers, emergency lighting)
• Boiler service

o Up to 2 hours onsite
• Any handyman works you require during our visit

One-Off Staff Training

Have someone in-house who can do with training? We provide on-site training and templates to help you meet compliance. Training package includes:

o Risk Assessment package (Fire/Legionella/ Health and Safety/DDA)

o 2 full days on site with team to show and help perform:
• How to test the fire alarm
• How to check emergency lighting
• How to test tap temperature
• How to conduct a fire drill

o Compliance folder and templates

o 1 follow up visit to ensure your team is meeting compliance

o Access to our support team for guidance

o Access to our emergency team (Plumbing/ Electrics/Maintenance)

In line with annual requirements, we look after your medical equipment ensuring they are calibrated and tested in accordance to guidelines which includes PAT testing and service certificates.

As per Infection Control guidelines, we plan ahead with client sites to supply and fit medical curtains on a 6-monthly basis.

Business/Practice Manager

‘We have been using Surgery Facilities Management since February 2019. The service has been highly beneficial to the surgery, and particularly beneficial to me as a Business / Practice Manager. Surgery Facilities Management take on the time consuming burden of fixing ad hoc facilities snagging issues, (broken door handles etc). These tasks are often an unwelcome distraction for a Business / Practice Manager, so it has been fantastic to have support in this area. Surgery Facilities Management will order and install new door handles, repair fixtures and fittings in a timely fashion (during the weekly site visit). On top of this, Surgery Facilities Management have a programme of building checks which ensure your building is CQC compliant (fire drills, water checks etc), which offers reassurance, and saves me a lot of time and stress. Surgery Facilities Management can also help source contractors for larger scale building works, and Shafeek has assisted me by writing a detailed report on our major premises update requirements, and obtained quotes for a major building update project (at a very reasonable cost).
